Dry until the weekend
Heat and humidity rise through midweek, Wednesday and Thursday will have extreme heat concerns, especially Thursday. Thursday is not only likely the hottest day this year but one of the hottest days in the past decade. A high of 97 degrees would tie a record for August 24, set in 1948. The heat index could be as high as 110 degrees. The heat and humidity break Friday and the weekend is milder with highs in the 70s. Total rainfall over the next two weeks is minimal, so make sure you are watering regularly.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 66.
Tuesday: Sunny. High 867.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny. Hot and humid. High 93.
Thursday: Extreme heat. High 97°.
