Family remembering college student found dead
BROAD RIPPLE, Ind. -- Family of the late Ty Brown remember and their son, brother, and friend who was taken from the world way to soon.
20-year-old, Ty Brown, was found on the side of McKenna Road just before 5 am Monday morning by a Todd Hahn who was driving on his way to work. Hahn said that he knew as soon as he walked up to the body that he was too late. However, he called and listened to police who told him to administer CPR, which Hahn did for 10 minutes until EMS and officers arrived. From there, EMS took Brown's body away leaving so many questions lingering behind.
Now 4 days after the incident, the family is just asking for the person or people that know something to please come forward. Both mom, Jennifer Beadles, and older brother, Ziyad Bajis said that it is the unknowing that will make this Ty sized hole linger open.
In these moments of despair, the family fights to stay strong for one another and to choose to remember Ty as the caring, tough, smart, and goofy kid that everyone loved.
Memories of annoying babysitters, intense battles over the Bears vs. Packers games, and late nights making plans for a life that was cut short.
ABC57 spoke with the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department who are leading the investigation and there have yet to be any updates.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that can help lead to an arrest.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday September 7th. Family will be from noon to two and then everyone is welcome after that to a "block party" being held and thrown by Beadles and a few adjoining houses.
