Fans greet refs with standing ovation in NFL return

BALTIMORE -- The regular NFL referees are back on the job.

The refs said that it’s good to be back after hitting the field in Thursday’s match up in Baltimore as the Ravens faced the Browns.

The crowd even greeted them with a standing ovation.

The NFL and referees association finally reached a tentative agreement ending the three-month lockout. The vote to finalize the deal will be voted on either Friday or Saturday.

Replacement refs worked the first three weeks of the season, but they were under intense scrutiny by the football community because of questionable calls.
