ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – According to police, one man died in a crash early Sunday morning in Middlebury.
Robert Heign, 58, was traveling east bound on CR 8 around 1 a.m., reports say.
Heign allegedly lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.
He was transported to Elkhart General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash.
