Father sentenced for injuring his two infant sons

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A man who beat and injured both of his sons was sentenced to ten years each on two domestic battery charges, according to court records.

The court accepted Matthew Willett's guilty plea for two counts of domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury to a person less than 14 years old on Wednesday.

Willett was sentenced to ten years in prison on each charge, to be served concurrently.

He will serve four years in the department of corrections, two years in community corrections and four years were suspended.

Once he is released, Willett will serve two years on probation.
