FBI warns of new banking scam

The FBI is warning about a new scam out to steal money.

The scheme uses spam emails that appear to be from government agencies, such as the Federal Reserve or the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

When opening the email it reads about a problem with your bank account and mentions to click on a link to fix it.

The FBI said that link takes viewers to a phony website. It then downloads everything off of the computer needed to steal banking information.
