Amidst several rounds of storms, some could be severe today
NILES, Mich. -- Toefco Engineering was evacuated Tuesday morning after a fire broke out in the filtration system and spread to the roof.
Niles Fire responded to the scene around 9 a.m. at the business on Lake and 14th Street.
All of the employees were safely evacuated from the building.
The fire was extinguished within one hour, according to fire officials.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
