Firefighters release cause of fatal fire

The South Bend Fire Department has released the cause of the fatal fire on N. O'Brien Street on May 26.
The fire happened at 1522 N. O'Brien Street around 1:38 a.m.
Four people were hospitalized and 10-year-old Lanijah Kyle died.
Firefighters say the cause of the fire was an unattended pan on the stove.
