ELKHART, Ind. – A new pub called “Station 338” will open in downtown Elkhart once renovations are completed on a building bought by the Firefighter’s Union.
The pub will be a place where both firefighters and the public can go to relax and have a drink.
The people who are behind the opening are members of the International Association of Firefighters in Elkhart.
Renovations have been going on at the building ever since the summer of 2018.
Fundraising events will also be held at the pub. Money donated or spent at the pub will likely be invested in the community.
There is no date for the pub’s opening, though organizers hope to have the pub up and running by summer of 2020
