First string of Rolls-Royce employees settle in downtown Indy

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The first wave of Rolls-Royce employees settled into their new digs in downtown Indy Monday.

The airplane engine maker is now headquartered in the Circle City. This move is expected to be one of the largest economic developments in that area in the past 10 years and city planners think it will generate $510 million each year.

By the middle of 2012, all 2,500 workers will be based at the downtown location.
