Flooding strands Michigan drivers

FLINT, Mich. -- Boats are the transportation of choice in Flint, Mich.

Check out this video. More than six inches of rain fell overnight. It flooded roads and even major highways.

I-75 looked more like a lake on Friday morning.

One semi driver even climbed on top of his rig until help arrived.

He wasn't the only one stuck.

"My 6-year old is in first grade.  I had to literally put him on my back, so he wouldn't get wet for school..
and I had to drive him to the bus stop!" said Sherika Harris, a flood victim.

High water also shut down parts of I-69 on Friday.
