Former Burger King employee sentenced for robbing the restaurant

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The former Burger King employee who wore a Halloween mask to rob the restaurant executed a plea deal and has been sentenced in the case.

Daniel R Rajski, 22, was sentenced to 3 years for one count of robbery with 3 years suspended. He was also sentenced to 3 years probation.

In October 2018, Rajski entered the Burger King on Portage Road wearing a Halloween mask and ordered the clerk to put his hands up, reports said.

Rajski then opened the cash register without assistance from employees. After Rajski was arrested, another employee told police Rajski had previously worked in the drive thru.
