Former fire chief, wife charged with embezzlement

The Van Buren County Sheriff's Office says former Keeler Township Fire Chief Matt Quinn and his wife Megan are facing embezzlement charges.
Both are facing two counts - one count of embezzlement $1000 or more but less than $20K from a non-profit or charitable organization and one count of financial transaction device stealing/retaining without consent.
They are scheduled for a probable cause hearing on June 6 and a preliminary hearing on June 9th.
