ANN ARBOR, Mich. — A former Michigan State Supreme Court justice pleaded guilty to bank fraud.
Prosecutors say Diane Hathaway concealed ownership of a Florida home in an effort to convince a lender she qualified for a short sale.
A judge sentenced Hathaway to a year and a day in prison. He also ordered her to pay $90,000 in fines.
Hathaway stepped down from the Michigan Supreme Court only a week before pleading guilty.
