ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. – Amber Pasztor, the woman who is already facing 130 years behind bars for the murders of her two young children, is to plead “guilty but mentally ill” Monday in the shooting death of her neighbor, Frank Macomber.

The 30-year-old woman was charged with Macomber’s murder in 2016 after allegedly shooting him with a rifle he bought her before she killed her children, according to court records.

Pasztor was arrested in Elkhart after waving down a police officer and admitting to smothering her children, 7-year-old Liliana Hernandez and 6-year-old Rene Pasztor, who were deceased in the backseat of her vehicle.

She pleaded guilty but mentally ill to her children’s deaths on June 1, 2017.
