SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- UPDATE: SBPD reports this incident was not a shooting, but a firearm accident.
Authorities say one juvenile suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
ORIGINAL STORY: St. Joseph County Police were dispatched to a reported shooting at the 700 block of Portage Ave on Friday night.
ABC57 confirmed with St. Joseph County dispatch that one person was shot last night around 11:30 p.m. near 768 portage avenue.
It is unclear what lead up to the shooting, or who was shot. ABC57 will update on this incident as soon as more information becomes available.
