Falling temperatures Tuesday night and a stiff northwest wind will turn on the lake effect snow machine. Accumulation up to one inch is possible by early Wednesday, the main concern is for slick spots as roads may melt the first flake and then freeze.

Lake effect snow showers will bring a range of one to three inches through early Thursday. The forecast calms and clears into Friday before a southerly system brings a chance of snow Saturday.
Tonight: Lake effect snow, low of 23.
Wednesday: Lake effect snow, high of 26, single digit wind chill.
Thursday: Morning snow showers, mostly to partly cloudy. High of 28.
Friday: Partly cloudy, high of 32.
