Rain moves in late this evening and lasts thru Sunday morning. It'll be steady and moderate with rainfall totals over a half-inch for many. Temperatures steadily rise overnight and reach the lower 60s Sunday afternoon.
We will get a brief break from the rain Sunday afternoon before wave #2 of steady rain moves in Sunday evening and night. An additional half-inch to three-quarters of an inch of rain is likely for most of us.
Much colder air filters in to begin next week with highs in the 30s and 40s thru New Year's Day. A little bit of light rain and/or snow shower activity is possible Monday with snow for Monday night and Tuesday.
It's possible a couple inches of snow accumulates in lake effect zones by New Year's Eve afternoon.
Tonight: Rainy and breezy Low of 43.
Sunday: Rain during the morning and again by evening. High of 62.
Monday: AM showers; PM scattered rain and snow showers; breezy. Temps falling from an early high of 43.
Tuesday: Early day snow; breezy. High of 31.
