Gary Police Department mourns the loss of K-9 officer killed in action

GARY, Ind. - Gary Police Department is mourning the loss of K-9 Falco, who was shot and killed yesterday during a foot pursuit.
According to the South Bend Police Department, a suspect is in custody. The officer involved in the pursuit was not injured.
Falco was 10-years-old and served Gary PD for 8 years.
