Generous donor helps homeless Little League player

CHICAGO, Ill. --- One of Chicago's star Little League players is no longer homeless thanks to a generous donor.

12-year-old Jaheim Benton helped take the Jackie Robinson West team all the way to the LLWS Championship game, but the entire time he and his family were homeless.

Now, the owner of  a local funeral home heard about their situation and has offered to pay the family's rent for an entire year.

"He's a superstar, little Jaheim. And superstars, you can't----superstar and homeless don't go together so we had to do something for this little superstar, our superstar, Chicago's superstar," said Spencer Leak, Jr, owner of Leak and Sons Funeral Home.

Leak says he hopes the rent turns into a mortgage that turns into home ownership for the Benton family.
