Getting my hands dirty

Brian Dorman has very specific requests for his birthday.  

Only because 2012 marks his 30th year on this planet did I oblige.

He is the only person to send me the recipe of the cupcakes he wanted.

Not just any recipe.  He wanted oreo truffle cupcakes!

They were not complicated at all, but were time consuming and very hands on!

To make the truffles, you use an entire package of crushed oreos and combine it with a block of cream cheese.  By hand.  

Needless to say, I still had pieces of Oreo under my nails this morning!

But, the cupcakes have received rave reviews, so I assume it was worth it!
