Golden Tempo wins Kentucky Derby, trainer makes history

Getty Images LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Cherie DeVaux made history on Saturday as the first woman to train the winner of the Kentucky Derby, Golden Tempo.
Golden Tempo, a 23 to one odds favorite entering the race, crossed the finish line first after a remarkable comeback.
Eighteen horses competed at Churchill Downs with more than 100,000 watching.
Renegade finished second and Ocelli finished third.
