Golf invitational a fundraiser for First Tee of Michiana

The 2nd Annual Ladies Open Invitational to benefit First Tee of Michiana was held at the Morris Park Country Club Thursday.
ABC57 was the media sponsor of the event and Colleen Bormann and Emily Evans participated.
"First Tee program is primarily a life skills program for youngsters that uses golf as a medium to teach people our nine core values such as respect and honesty,” said Phil Potter, Committee Chair for First Tee of Michiana.
This year, 115 women participated and the event raised approximately $6,000.
