Google benefits pay 10 years to bereaved families

Apparently Google treats its dead employees better than some companies treat their living workers.

In a Forbes interview, a Google executive revealed the details of their death benefits package.

The spouse or domestic partner of a Google employee who dies will get half of the deceased's salary every year for a decade.

Each one of their children receives $1,000 per month until age 19, or 23 for full-time students.

All of Google's more than 34,000 workers qualify for the benefits.
