Goshen Health announces intent to partner with Parkview Health
Goshen Health GOSHEN, Ind. -- Goshen Health announced on Tuesday that its board entered a letter of intent to partner with Parkview Health.
Officials say with this partnership, Goshen Health would become Parkview's largest hospital outside of Fort Wayne and will serve as a regional hub for care, access, and growth.
Partnership plans include strengthening clinical services, expanding access to care, supporting clinical excellence, and building a strong, sustainable healthcare system for the future, according to officials.
“For more than 100 years, Goshen Health has served this community with compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence,” said Randy Christophel, President and Chief Executive Officer of Goshen Health. “Our priority and community responsibility have always been about making sure patients receive excellent care close to home. Today’s healthcare environment requires us to act proactively to ensure our community continues to have access to the care, services, and specialists it needs now and in the future.”
The partnership is set to begin with a 90-day due diligence period, followed by a regulatory review process, officials said.
Officials say the final agreement will be reliant on the successful completion of due diligence, regulatory approvals, and final board approval.
Goshen Health officials noted there are no immediate changes to patient care, services, staffing, or day-to-day operations at this time.
Goshen Health’s hospital, clinics, services, and care teams will continue operating regularly.
