GOSHEN, Ind. --- The travel watch in Elkhart County did not stop customers of a local tattoo shop, the owner said they piled into his store Friday night.
Goshen Ink Therapy on Lincoln Avenue and 3rd Street saw a boom in customers. Jake Kinsey, co-owner of the shop, said he credits the boom to the winter weather.
“We’ve had multiple people call or come in their job was shut down,” Kinsey said.
Daneen Dennis said she had a longstanding appointment with Kinsey, and after a couple of cancellations, she zoomed over to the shop.
“Jake is so good,” she said.
Dennis said she came with a full tank of gas and a car with four-wheel drive. She said she would rather be at the store getting inked than staying at home.
“Whether it be a hurricane, snow storm, whatever I’m going to tattoo in it if I can,” Kinsey said.
