Gov. Braun announces AI initiative for Indiana businesses

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana state officials are hoping a new statewide initiative will help businesses grow and modernize through AI.

In a press conference, Governor Mike Braun announced "IN AI." The initiative will work directly with employers to accelerate AI adoption. The aim is to give businesses AI tools to succeeded in what officials call a "changing economy." Gov. Braun identified three entry points for the program:

  • Identify where AI can improve operations
  • Access tools and technical support
  • Connect with talent to implement solutions

The plan is to engage businesses through various means, including a centralized digital platform, targeted communications, and partnerships with universities and other workplace initiatives.
