INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana Governor Mike Braun announced Monday the partial SNAP benefits will be issued to eligible Hoosiers.

Braun stated the benefits have begun processing and are expected to be available on qualifying EBT cards Tuesday.

If you're expecting November benefits, it's recommended you check your EBT card balance beginning Tuesday.

Braun's office says FSSA remains in close contact with federal partners and is prepared to respond quickly to changes in federal policy or funding.

Those who need immediate food assistance should call 2-1-1 or contact their local food bank.

While the government shutdown winds down and funding is restored, officials say Indiana is ready to deliver full benefits to qualifying households as soon as possible.
