Governor Eric Holcomb concerned over Hemp Industry

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, has stepped against the state getting into the hemp industry.

Lawmakers have been considering a bill that would allow farmers to grow hemp.

Hemp is the same plant family as marijuana but it isn’t psychoactive.

Governor Holcomb has raised questions about if the state is ready to actually regulate the industry which has stalled the bill’s progress in the senate.
