South Bend community donates blood at Grace UMC
GRANGER, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation announced a plan to introduce a new roundabout at S.R. 23 and Adams Road intersection on Tuesday.
Residents in the community spoke during the meeting providing their input on the design.
Ruben Alvarado, Granger Resident, stated, "I think it's a great idea. I love this. I think it's great idea. But one thing to consider is the all the subdivisions, there's so many subdivisions just so close to this, is that I wonder about the efficiency of the roundabout. It's gonna be so efficient that, like you guys were saying, everybody heading from Michigan, heading south, heading west. Now you got the added it's gonna go so they're going to go much slower, and you have less gaps."
Other residents spoke about the congestion in the area and are worried it's only going to get worse, making it harder for residents in the area to get in and out of their neighborhoods.
