Grant funding for South Bend businesses to improve exterior, create 'Vibrant Place'

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- Vibrant Places Matching Grant Program is for businesses and organizations in South Bend that would benefit from exterior improvements.

The City of South Bend is offering grant funding to commercial, mixed use and industrial buildings for projects that support well-designed qualifying exterior enhancements, adding curb appeal and strengthening resilience.

Some of examples of the enhancements include improving storefronts, options for clean energy production, upgraded signage and lighting, expanded outdoor seating and sidewalk usage.

The Vibrant Places 2023 Pre-Application is available for interested parties to see if they qualify.
