Harvey at the Beckwith Theatre

The Beckwith Theatre is proud to present Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy, Harvey.
The play became the basis for the iconic Jimmy Stewart movie of the same name.
Harvey is an imaginary six-foot rabbit, the constant companion of Elwood P. Dowd and the bane of the existence of Elwood's social-climbing sister and niece.
Various efforts to commit one or another family member to a sanitarium, combined with the strange influence of Harvey, make for a sweet, enjoyable screwball comedy.
