Henryville High students graduate three months after tornado tragedy

SCOTTSBURG, Ind. – It was a bittersweet moment for Henryville High School students.

Saturday marked three months since the devastating tornadoes tore through Henryville, Indiana, but it was also graduation day.

Ninety seniors from Henryville High received their diplomas Saturday. They walked in cap and gown at a ceremony held at nearby Scottsburg High School.

During the event, seniors were presented with a brick from their destroyed school as a symbol of a strong foundation.
