Hoosiers must register soon to vote in primary election

Hoosiers who want to vote in the May 3 primary election must register by April 4.
You can register to vote online by visiting IndianaVoters.com, using the Indiana Voters app, or apply to register in person at your local clerk of court or BMV branch.
In order to be eligible to register to vote, you must:
- be a citizen of the United States
- be at least 18 years old on the day of the next general, municipal, or special election
- have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days before the next general, municipal, or special election (except for certain military voters)
- not currently be imprisoned after being convicted of a crime
To vote in the November 8 general election, you must be registered by October 11.
