It is the start to a hot, humid weekend. Temperatures Saturday afternoon reach a high of 93, but temperatures will feel like 100 degrees. Take care of yourself as you head outside—dress in light colored clothing and drink plenty of water. Watch for signs of heat illness. It is mostly sunny today, and will feel a little breezy by afternoon. Overnight will feel very muggy, with a low of 75.
Temperatures Sunday will again reach the low 90s, with feels like temperatures near 100 degrees again. There is a round of showers and thunderstorms Sunday morning. Midday, there is a chance to get outside briefly and stay dry (just hot). Another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms is likely late Sunday afternoon through the evening. These storms could have gusty winds and localized heavy rainfall.
The week will not be quite as hot, with highs in the upper 80s Monday through Friday. There are more chances for thunderstorms this week starting Monday evening.
Today: Hot, humid, mostly sunny. High 93.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 75.
Sunday: Scattered thunderstorms. High 92.
Monday: Mostly sunny. Isolated storm or shower possible. High 88.
