How to be safe and responsible after Sunday's big game

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- State and local law enforcement is teaming up with the St. Joseph Traffic Safety Partnership to help fans avoid impaired driving after the big game this Sunday.

These agencies are strongly urging the use of designated drivers and ridesharing services.

Blood alcohol concentration of .08 or higher will leave drivers subject to fines and a license suspension for up to a year.

Indiana drivers under the age of 21 with blood alcohol concentrations of .02 or higher are subject to the same fines and license suspension.

Impaired driving also includes driving under the influence of prescription and illegal drugs.

Sober drivers can tweet @NHTSAgov during the big game to be featured on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Wall of Fame.
