Humane Society of St. Joseph County in need of volunteer transport drivers

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Humane Society of St. Joseph County posted to Facebook on Sunday their need for volunteer transport drivers to aid the shelter in getting pets where they need to go.

The shelter said they are lucky to partner with many rescues that locate placements for longer-term residents, assist with medical cases, and much more.

Due to the shelter having a small number of volunteers available to help transport, they often scramble to get the pets to their destinations, stated the organization.
