Humane Society offers $3,000 reward to identify dog fighting trainers

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Humane Society is offering a reward in the case of a tortured dog.

Officers said they pulled this little guy out of a drain pipe near a U.S. construction site last month.

They've decided to call him Buddy.

Officers said Buddy had so many bite marks on him they think he was used as bait to teach other dogs how to fight.

If the dog trainers are found, they will face serious charges.

"We will find them sooner or later. I believe in karma.  Someone is going to mess up and say something. We'll find them," said John Minier of the St. Joseph County Humane Society.

The reward for identifying the dog trainers is currently at $3,000.
