After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) has reported a power outage just west of South Bend, near Lydick and Crumstown on Thursday morning.
The outage was first reported around 7:30 a.m. around Western Avenue ranging from Lydick to Crumstown.
Approximately 1,975 customers are affected by the outage, up from the earlier number of 1,200 customers.
I&M said that the outage was caused by another utility company's lines falling onto I&M lines.
Crews are working to restore power and I&M's estimated time of power restoration is 5 p.m.
