Indiana DNR asks for help identifying big trees

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources has announced that it needs the public's help in identifying the largest trees in the state.

The Division of Forestry is asking residents who know of particularly large trees to measure them and send their findings to the DNR.

The reports will be compiled in the state's native champion tree report, which is released to the public every five years.
