Indiana man in critical condition after hitting deer with moped

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- An Indiana man is in critical condition. Police think he hit a deer with his moped!



Kosciusko County sheriff's deputies responded to County Road 900 East just before 6 a.m. on Friday.



Officers found 43-year-old Dennis Spurling lying in the middle of the road. Police don't how long he had been there.



Investigators believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.



Spurling was not wearing a helmet.
