Indiana man rescues drowning dog tied up with cinder blocks

VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. — A dog left to drown in an Indiana river is recovering thanks to a good samaritan.

The rescuer says the dog, Serendipity, nearly drowned.

Cinder blocks were tied to the side of the dog's head and both of its legs were tied together.

A man found the Labrador mix and pulled her out of the river, then taking her to a shelter.

Serendipity is doing just find and is up for adoption.
