Indiana Michigan Power increases rates

MICHIANA-- Get ready to fork over some cash, your electric bill may be going up.
Indiana Michigan Power plans to increase electric rates by 5.8 percent.
On average, that's about a 12 cent hike per day.
Despite the increase Indiana Michigan Power said it's residential customers still have the lowest bills in the state.
The new rates take effect in April.
