Investigators identify man found dead at home in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The County Metro Homicide Unit has released the identity of the man whose body was found inside a home on Bastogne Avenue Monday morning.
The man has been identified as 54-year-old Douglas Drehmel.
Police were called to 216 Bastogne Avenue early Monday morning and discovered one person deceased at the scene.
A second person in the home suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital. The injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
An autopsy on Drehmel is being conducted in Fort Wayne.
