ISP accepting applications for Regional Dispatch positions
BRISTOL, Ind. – The Indiana State Police are looking to fill two Regional Dispatcher positions for the Toll Road Post.
The facility is located at the 50000 block of CR 17 and the position covers the length of the Toll Road.
That specific center covers Elkhart, St. Joseph, Marshall, and Kosciusko counties as well.
According to ISP, the new hire will be responsible to receive, record, and dispatch correct information to police and other law enforcement agencies.
Dispatchers use several support services like a Computer Aided Dispatch system, Records Management system, Automatic Vehicle Locator, and more.
ISP are looking for individuals with a high school diploma or GED equivalent and someone who is able to be seated in confined areas for extended periods of time.
Pay starts around $30,000 per year. And dispatch benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans and accrued time off.
