ISP seeking applicants for Toll Road Dispatch Center by Nov. 9
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana State Police are looking for regional dispatchers at the Toll Road Dispatch Center.
Applications will be accepted by ISP at the Toll Road Post operating at 52422 C.R. 17. The center covers the entire length of the Toll Road in the Bremen District which includes Kosciusko, Elkhart, St. Joseph and Marshall counties.
The main objective of the dispatcher is to dispatch accurate information to law enforcement personnel using a Computer dispatch system (CAD), Automatic Vehicle Locator (AVL), Records Management System (RMS) and Geographic Information System (GIS).
Those interested must be able to sit in a confined area for lengthy periods of time. A GED or high school diploma and two years of public safety communications experience is preferred for this role.
Salary begins at $30,082 dollars annually and benefits include retirement plans, accrued time off, medical, dental, life and vision insurance.
