Tornado confirmed in Colon, Michigan Wednesday night

The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF1 tornado touched down near Colon, Mich. Wednesday night.
Much of Michiana was under a tornado watch as severe storms moved through the region, but there were unconfirmed reports that a tornado actually touched down in Colon.
Today, National Weather Service investigators checked it out and they determined that it indeed was a tornado.
An EF1 tornado can have wind gusts of 85 to 110 miles per hour and are known to cause what the National Weather Service considers moderate damage.
This tornado was on the ground for about 5 minutes and nearly 3 miles, with peak wind speeds of 90 mph.
No one was injured.
