After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- IUSB is hosting events all week in conjunction with Constitution Day, celebrating the signing the United States Constitution. Colleges receiving government funding are required to observe the holiday and offer services to teach students about the Constitution.
On Tuesday, students can get free copies of the Constitution, register to vote, and learn about civic engagement at a tent in the middle of campus. There will also be a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. with a discussion on free speech verses hate speech.
At that same time on Thursday, there will be another luncheon with the discussion centering around guns on college campuses.
On Friday at 7 p.m., there will be a screening of the Netflix documentary, "13th".
All events are free and open to the public
