Ivy Alley Social House announces permanent closure

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The family behind Ivy Alley Social House in South Bend announced they will be permanently closing in a Facebook post Saturday.

Their last day of operation will be May 16th.

The post reads in part:

"After much thought, we have come to the very difficult decision to permanently close Ivy Alley. Our last day of operation will be May 16th. We are incredibly grateful for your support and hope you will stop by to share one final goodbye with us. It has been a pleasure getting to know so many of you and becoming part of this community. Closing our doors has been a Heart-Wrenching decision, and we will cherish the memories we've made here together."

Ivy Alley Social House opened in December and is located a block away from Four Winds Field in downtown South Bend.

It is known for duckpin bowling and brick oven pizza.
