SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The North Central JobSpark event took place on Tuesday at the Century Center for eighth and ninth grade students to explore future career paths.
The event showcased eight career clusters including business, technology, construction, and health sciences.
The event also aims to introduce students to various career options, including trades, white-collar jobs, military, and civil service, at an early age.
With nearly 5,000 students expected, the initiative aligns with new Indiana diploma requirements encouraging students to consider career paths, secondary education, or military service.
The goal is to inspire students to explore career options and plan their high school curriculum accordingly.
